Aluminium Case: This chassis protects all the components inside the Lumisonic. It features a Zuma Blade System for quick, easy and neat installation.



Amplifier: A high performance monolithic Class D amplifier is controlled by an outstanding central ARM processor, quad core CPU.



Speaker: Zuma’s patented aluminium woofer and radial neodymium magnet unit deliver pace, rhythm, and superior sonic detail.

Full Voice Control With Zuma Smart Bezel

Upgrade to a Zuma Smart Bezel Voice (sold separately) and you can enjoy a total hands free experience as you control lights and sound with voice alone!

Intelligently managed microphones have been built into the smart bezel enabling Alexa integration. Complete with a selection of far-field microphones and echo cancellation, voice commands can be heard clearly over music.

Only one Zuma Smart Bezel is required per room.

Zuma is designed for simple living.

Simply install the Zuma unit and it will connect to your WiFi network. Download the Zuma App and enjoy complete, wireless control of your rooms lighting and sound with minimal fuss!

Inside the Zuma a unique compact speaker delivers music, podcasts and audiobooks with fully immersive sound. It works with many music services including Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal Connect, Apple Music and more.

Using the Zuma app you can control your whole home sound and lighting from the palm of your hand.

The Perfect Match: Lumisonic & Luminaire

From the Zuma App you can control up to 200 units in your home making it ideal for multi room use. A single unit sounds great but when installed in multiples the audio is even more impressive!

Zuma Installation

Zuma is just 93mm diameter with a GU10/MR16 style fitting.

Zuma can connect to the wiring for your lighting and sits in a standard sized spotlight cavity; an easy upgrade of your existing lighting system!

How many Zuma’s do I need for my room?

This is really down to personal preference and room size but, as general rule Zuma recommend one Lumisonic (audio speaker) per 3.5m2 for a fully immersive sound.

Spacing of the Luminaire lights (spotlights only) ideally should be 1.2m apart for kitchens and bathrooms and 1.8m apart for other rooms.

1m space from the wall edge is also recommended.

Can Zuma be installed in a bathroom?

Absolutely! With a rating of IP65 the Zuma is suitable for installation in a bathroom.

Can traditional light switches be used with Zuma?

Yes! Rocker switches and simple push on/off switches will work fine with Zuma.

If you have open/closed switches you can wire a simple control connection to the main Zuma unit.

Dimmer switches are not compatible.

What are the dimensions of the Zuma Lumisonic and Zuma Luminaire?

The Lumisonic dimensions: 110mm high x 93mm diameter.

The Luminaire dimensions: 58mm high x 93mm diameter.

Both require a 95mm diameter cut out hole for installation.

Lumisonic units must be installed within a ceiling cavity that has an internal height of at least 130mm with a clearance of 100mm on all sides between the Zuma and insulation material.

What device is the Zuma app available on?

The Zuma app is available on IOS devices (Iphone, Ipad) and Android devices (Phone, tablet)

The Zuma app is available for iPhones running iOS 14.4 or later.

What are the network requirements for Zuma Lumisonic?

The Zuma Lumisonic supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac/2.4Ghz/5Ghz network standards.

What are the system requirements for Zuma Smart Bezel Voice?

Zuma app (available for iOS or Android).

Zuma account on the Zuma app.

Zuma Lumisonic running software version 22.3.107 or later.

A Zuma Lumisonic device in the area.

An Amazon account.

The Alexa companion app.

Can the Smart Bezel Voice be moved to another room?

Yes! Simply attach to a Zuma unit in a new area and open the app. Here it will prompt you to ‘complete voice bezel setup’.

What is the standby power consumption of the Zuma Lumisonic?

Lumasonic units standby power consumption is around 3.5W.

When playing music this rises a little. Lights set to 100 % brightest use around 13W.

Can I install Zuma Luminare Lights only in my room?

You will require at least one Zuma Lumisonic if you wish to install Luminare lights in a room. The Lumisonic unit houses all the smart tech that you will need to control the lights.

How is Zuma installed?

Create a 95mm cut out.

Switch off mains power before wiring your lighting circuit to the power supply. Place the power supply in the ceiling.

Attach the power supply unit connector to the Zuma.

Push the unit into the cavity

Use the unique ‘Zuma Blade System’ to secure it in place.

Finally, pop on your bezel of choice before downloading the Zuma app.
