Safety Spring Mechanism


Safety Spring Mechanism

To release the safety lock press the lever downwards then push it backwards to activate the boiling water.

The boiling water supply will switch off as soon as you let go of the handle.


Cool Touch, PVD Spout

After drawing boiling water from the Caple Vapos Quad the spout remains cool to touch for added safety.

The metallic PVD coating provides a durable finish to ensure this hot tap looks pristine for many years to come.

Temperature Control At Your Fingertips


The Caple Boiler 2 sits neatly underneath your kitchen sink. This compact unit allows you to enjoy instant boiling water from your tap, whenever you need it!

Control the boiling water temperature using the up and down arrows via the touch control panel.

Temperature can be adjusted from around 25°C to 98°C.

Once the required temperature is programmed, ‘heating’ will illuminate as the boiler heats up. Once the desired temperature is reached, ‘ready’ will illuminate to show the boiler is now ready to use.

How To Operate The Caple Vapos Quad

Push the lever downwards and then backwards to draw boiling water. Continue to hold the lever while dispensing hot water and release to switch off.

If you release the left hand lever during use, the safety mechanism will spring into action, switching off the boiling water supply instantly.

Hot and cold water is activated via the second lever. Temperature and flow of the mains water can easily be controlled with one hand.

Why has the water flow reduced?

If the water flow is slower than usual this may be due to low mains water pressure. Alternatively, the filter may need changing. The water filter must be replaced every 6 months, minimum.

When I go on holiday, do I need to switch off the boiler?

Yes! If you are away for longer periods of time we advise turning off the boiler. You should disconnect it from the power supply and drain the boiling water from the tap.

Upon your return ensure you fill the tank before connecting to the power supply and setting the desired temperature.

If you do not fill the tank before switching on, this could potentially cause damage to the boiler and invalidate the guarantee.

How often do I need to replace the filter?

The filter must be replaced every 6 months. Please follow the instructions supplied with the filter to ensure correct installation.

How long does the tank take to heat up?

If you drain 1250ml (9 cups) from the tank, the remaining water in the boiler will drop to 96°C and will take around 4 minutes to heat back to 98°C.

Please note: Data based on water taken directly from the boiler tank, not the tap.

Why has the boiler switched itself off?

The boiler is fitted with a temperature limiter. This will switch the unit off automatically if it overheats.

To reset the boiler, turn it off via the switch at the bottom of the unit and wait 40 minutes. During this time the internal temperature will begin to reduce.

How do I clean the PVD coating on this tap ?

We recommend regular cleaning with hot soapy water and a soft microfibre cloth, like an E-Cloth.

A 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar is ideal for removing limescale deposits.

Never use abrasive cloths and creams or spray cleaners and bleach to clean your tap.
