The AEG IKE84441FB, MaxiSense Induction Hob detects the size of the pan to adapt the size of the cooking area exactly.
Use the bridge button function to link two cooking zones together which is great when two pans need to use the same temperature and timing to save energy. Slider controls placed at the front of this induction hob enable you to accurately turn the heat up and down or off in an instant.
Induction heating means you can bring water to the boil in a much faster time than when using gas or standard electric hobs. Induction hobs are energy efficient and the surface of the hob remains cool to the touch.
Additional features include a child safety control lock, a stop and go keep warm setting and an Automax function which reduces the heat after boiling.
Hob2Hood is unique feature which automatically sets the fan speed of the hood to suit the setting and temperature of the hob. With Hob2Hood technology, the hood and hob connect via an infrared signal. The hood operates once the hob has been activated and changes the fan extraction setting based on the cooking process; leaving you to cook the perfect meal.Hob2Hood only works with hob and hoods with the Hob2Hood function.
